Flutter Interview Prep (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile app that provides educational content on Flutter and Dart, plus mock interviews so you can practice for Flutter developer jobs. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Flutter Interview Prep does not require account creation. We do not collect account information such as name, email address, or login credentials. The data we collect is limited to analytics, crash reporting, and the anonymous practice data described below.

Information we collect

Analytics. We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used — for example, which screens or features are opened, approximate usage patterns, device type, operating system, and app version. This helps us improve the product.

Crashlytics. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash-reporting and diagnostic data when the app experiences errors or crashes. This may include device information, app version, and technical logs related to the failure so we can diagnose and fix issues.

Mock interview results. When you complete a mock interview, we store an anonymous summary of that session — such as when it happened, how many questions you got right or wrong, your score, and which topics you selected or might revisit. This is saved with a random identifier and is not linked to your name or an account.

Question reports. If you report a question as incorrect or unclear, we store the question identifier so we can review and fix the content.

Saved questions (on your device). Bookmarks you save stay on your device using local storage. We do not upload your saved-question list to our servers.

We do not create user accounts, and we do not intentionally collect personal profile information (such as your name or email) through the app. If you email us for support, we will receive whatever information you include in that message.

How we use your information

  • Operate and improve the Flutter Interview Prep app
  • Understand feature usage and overall app performance
  • Monitor reliability and diagnose crashes
  • Improve educational content and mock-interview question quality
  • Respond to support requests you send us by email
  • Comply with legal obligations where applicable

How we share information

We use trusted service providers that help us run analytics, crash reporting, and data storage for Flutter Interview Prep. These currently include Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Firestore). These providers process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

Analytics, crash, and mock-interview data are retained according to the practices of the tools we use and only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Saved questions remain on your device until you remove them or uninstall the app.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Flutter Interview Prep is not directed at children under 16 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Flutter Interview Prep after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
